1 Sep 2007 - Local walks and visits to places of interest
You may sometimes hear your child talk of having been on a local expedition to a mosque, church, park, shop, etc.
These interesting excursions are to help your children gain a wider knowledge of the local community and its everyday life.
Children will, of course, be escorted by our staff every time they leave the school grounds.
We ask parents to give their permission for this sort of visit at the start of each school year, when they check and update the information we hold on their children and give permission for them to appear in photographs on displays or for inclusion in the local press.
Should you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to ask for more clarification.
